This is an antique/early vintage silver mesh chatelaine purse with twin internal compartments. The purse is marked 800 indicating it is of European origins - there is another mark but I don't know what it is - a makers mark? The purse is in very very good condition for its age which I estimate to be around 1880 to 1920 - there are no holes in the mesh and nothing is missing. The weight of the purse is just over 28 grammes. A great addition for your collection or an ideal gift. Items are safely wrapped as quickly as I can. I normally post out on Saturdays but will try to make it to the Post Office midweek. Items are only sent after payment is received and cleared. Adequate insurance must be payed for if an item sells for over £30.00. This will either be Recorded/Special Delivery or International Signed For Service for bidders outside of the U.K. International bidders must wait for me to send an invoice - please do not pay until I have sent it.
