Approx. 12-1/4" (girl) and 11-1/2" (boy) pair of wonderful antique stuffed toy rabbits. They are marvelous characters with glass eyes, hand stitched nose/mouth and costumes. The boy rabbit is dressed in a suit with brass buttons and a brass pin closing the jacket that has GRC on it (probably a family addition). No holes in his wool suit which, like his body, is very bright and clean. Like his sister, much of his facial mohair has been "loved" off. Sister is wearing a cotton dress (brass button at neck - one part of bead decoration lost), apron and cotton slip. Her clothes as well as his have hooks/eyes and are removable. Again, other than some light soiling of head mohair, both are bright and clean. My photos tend to make them, particularly their mohair/cloth heads, look slightly yellow which is not correct - they are white/grey. All clothes in excellent condition. These two are irresistible and I can see why the were greatly loved and carefully treasured. PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT UNTIL INVOICED. Please ask all questions before bidding.
