This listing is for a HTF ( hard to find ) 14" Horsman BABY BUTTERCUP doll circa 1931 or so...they produced several versions and sizes for about 7 years. She is unmarked. This baby has the straight legs and blue tin sleep eyes with horsehair eyelashes...her right lashes appear shorter. Coral colored rosebud closed mouth. She is in wonderful condition! Please supersize photos and decide for yourself. I note a small filled compo crack under her right eye and there are several compo cracks in her molded blonde "hair" that I have sealed to prevent further deterioration. She wears an antique doll dress...I added a tiny bow to the front and a matching headband of silk ribbon. She wears doll undies. Her cloth body has age discoloration but no odors and from my non smoking home. Her mama crier works every once in awhile and you may have to set her down abruptly, to get her eyes to open up...they stick sometimes. Not perfect...but, WHO is at the ripe old age of 87...!? I've always displayed her with her "sister" baby buttercup whom is listed in another auction at this time.Thanks for viewing my auction...please ask any questions.
