Fantastic Antique Vintage DRESDEN PLATE Quilt TOP c.1930-1945 This TOP is 80 inches by 78 inches. There are 16 blocks which are each 17" finished. The Plates are each 12" and appliqued nicely by Hand. The soft 3.5 inch yellow sashing is machine stitched. The colors are a beautiful assortment of typical 1930's colors of BLUES, PURPLES, PINKS, YELLOWS and GREENS etc. All of the centers are 5" of the same yellow. A nice quality white cotton fabric was used for background. Near MINT CONDITION. Clean, crisp, strong and sturdy with only 3 small spots (see pix #11). See the last pix for a close-up of the precise teeny tiny hand-applique stitches. Very Shabby-Cottage Chic-ish. International bidders welcome. This gorgeous top weighs 1 pounds 14 ounces.
