ANTIQUE VINTAGE Embroidery Linen Runner Lrge Basket flowers, Blue Ribbon Vintage/Antique Linen Runner ~ Basket flowers and blue ribbons, lace border ~ This large oval table runner is SO pretty and beautifully worked in vivid, bright colours. It was made in France. It is hand-embroidered on pure cream linen, with a beautiful basket of roses at each end, in pink and red, with large blue ribbons, and edged with hand made lace in ecru. The embrodery is carried on with sprigs of flowers meandering around the cloth. The roses have been worked to give the effect of standing proud, giving an almost 3D effect - very skillfully completed. The emboidery is worked in beautiful colours, still retaining their full colours of mainly red, pink and blue. Condition: very good, with just one or two tiny age dots, but not too bad at all - please ensure this is acceptable to you - I always mention faults no matter how small as my policy. This is a delightful cloth, beautifully worked, finished in hand made lace, still all retaining its full colour - perfect for the textile enthusiast...
