I'm totally guessing on this one but I think this is a furniture maker's drill bit used for boring holes for chair rails. It was found in a tool chest once owned by a cabinet maker who practiced his trade during the early 1900s and I will be listing many of the tools during the next few weeks - some are very interesting. This piece measures 3" long and is 3/4" at its widest. The numbers " 9. 192 " appear to the side of the smaller screw ( see last photo ) - all else was cut away when they made the bit. There is no maker's signature. Shipping will be $5.00 ( I SHIP ONLY TO THE USA!!! ). Paypal only. Thanks for looking.
