Golden Gate Suspension Cable in place as part of the bridge from 1936 to 1976.Cable is about 3.87 inches long. Maximum diameter about 2.75 inches.There is a metal disk 1.25 inches in diameter. It is numbered 1557 on one side and on the other side it says:1936 1976 Golden Gate Bridge Original Suspender Cable Strands of HistoryAlso included is a small, folded card as shown and a paper printed in green ink that looks like a copy of a stock certificate or something. That paper is printed on one side and blank on the other.The wooden stand reads:Strand of History 1936-1976 Golden Gate Bridge Original Suspension Cable
