ANTIQUE VINTAGE JADE FRUIT - This auction is for eleven different selections of old carved jade fruit of various coloration that I got them a long time ago at a local estate sale. All I remember about what the person holding the sale said was that they had been in their grandparentâe(tm)s home for many years. They appear to be of high quality and all are finely detailed. For example, t is a centerline carved on each leaf with more delicate lines etched across the leaves to simulate the appearance of veins. The fruit and the leaves are held to the stem with thread covered wire. Individual fruit pieces measure from about 5.5" long to about 1" in diameter. For example, the banana is 4.5" long.
