This auction is a for a pair of heavy brass and glass nautical lights with red and blue faceted gem-like lenses. The former owner said they came off the family's boat house at their cottage. They are of very heavy construction and are made completely of brass. They mount from the bottom with a 3/4" opening, threaded on the inside. The have porcelain sockets and they are hexagon shaped with three panels being clear glass and the other three panels solid with a colored lens in the center of each. Two red with a blue one in the center. They still have the original wires sticking out of the bottoms and the have a series of drain holes in the bottom plate. They each measure about 14"(to the top of the ring) x about 7" in diameter. The weigh about 9 lbs. each. There are a few areas of paint loss with a little corrosion, but they are in good solid condition with no dents, chips, cracks or other damage. No reserve auction!!!
