Up for bid is this antique (Ca.1910) solid oak wood frame. You are bidding on the frame, not the picture it contains. The ship picture looks to be from an old magazine, and it is signed on the lower left hand corner: L. BLOOMSTER. It looks like the pine wood back has not been removed for many decades. We did not want to remove it to check out the picture behind it. That is why we make no guarentee on the ships print/picture. The oak picture frame has it's original "PINE" wood back, fastened in with "SQUARE" head nails. The glass front also looks to be original. The picture frame is 11 1/2" by 14 1/2". The picture area is 8 5/8" by 11 5/8". The "RAISED" interior boarder is in very very good condition. That boarder is 1/4" by 1/4". The concave outer boarder is 1 1/4" wide and it is 3/4" thick. T is a minute/tiny sliver wear mark on the lower right out-side corner (not bad at all). The wood frame has a pencil dot mark and t, but t are no holes, splits, chips, or flakes. This oak wood frame is "LOADED" with antique charm, and for being over 90 years old, it is in slendid condition. Please email with any questions before bidding.
