Antique/Vintage Sewing Notions This is a varied selection of antique and vintage sewing notions: T are two original cards of "Superior Bone Rings No. 24 1 Inch" (six rings on each card). T is a box of "J.&P. COATS Mercerized Mending Floss Assortment - Article A.47 (10 spools - 10 yds. each, 1 end of 2 ply)". The corners of the box top are detached. A few of these spools appear to have been used to a small degree. T is a card with three remaining 1 3/8 inch green glass rings (stamped on the card is Made in China). T is a 4 1/2 in. X 3 in. booklet "Select Collection of Patterns for Workd from the House of M. Sajou, Rue de Rambuteau 52, Paris - Booklet No. 16". This booklet has a fold-out with 8 sampler patterns. The cover of the booklet is in six different languages. On the back cover of the booklet it reads "First Class Medal at the Universal Exhibition of 1855". This as well appears in six different languages. The front and back covers are no longer joined and the back cover is a little dog-earred. T is a painted darning egg with a handle that is painted in the image of a woman. The handle comes out of the egg. Some of the paint, especially around the woman's head is chipped off.
