Presented for your consideration is a large Vintage/Antique SLEEPY EYE PITCHER . As you can see in the pictures, this SLEEPY EYE PITCHER has bright cobalt blue color on a white background. The blue handle has the bust of Chief Sleepy Eye at the top and the top rim of the pitcher is white. The coloration of Sleepy Eye, the mountains, trees and stream is vibrant. The pitcher measures 8 inches tall and it is 9 inches from tip of lip to tip of the Indian head on the handle. The base flares out to a solid foundation of 6-5/8 inches in diameter. (Most of the pitchers I have seen have been more straight vertically.) The pitcher has expected crazing and t are hairline through and through cracks near the handle and under the spout. T are two chips at the base, one is visible (see the top picture); the other is not. T are no maker's marks to indicate age or producer.
