Antique Stiffel-Freeman Cast Iron Floor Safe Very n ice antique cast iron safe. Original paint is in g reat shape and the graphics are especially nice. The interior is clean, original and complete with a shelf, a locking drawer and a locking compartment each with their own keys. There are two sets of ke ys, each set having a key for the drawer and a d ifferent key for the compartment. This safe comes with the original Directions/Combination leaflet that was supplied with the safe when it was new! This paperwork , with matching serial numbers, provides the owner with the combination and instructions for their new safe. The combination has not been changed, altered or messed with since and the mechanism works perfectly. The dial is smooth and the door opens and closes freely and seats perfectly into thebody of the safe. Dial is numbered 0 - 99 and is 2 1/2 " in diameter. The safe rolls easily and quietly on four cast iron wheels. Safe is 2 4 1 /2 " tall x 1 9 1/2" deep (from the back of the safe to the front of the dial) x1 6 3/4 " wide and weighs 26 0 lbs. The interior measures 1 3 1/2 " high x 12" wide and 12 " deep. Anyone interested in this safe is welcome to come check it out prior to the auction end.
