Used straight razor from the early 1900's in good condition. very sharp. Friedr Herder Abr. Sohn makers of quality blades since it was established in 1623. In the year 1727 the ACE of SPADES or "Spades As" was registered as the oldest registered trade mark Solingen Germany.Herder Blades were used on SS & SA German Daggers as well as Luftwaffe dirks and daggers during the wars.The blade of this razors reads 147 F.Herder Abr.Sohn - Solingen on one side and the other side is, The famous trademark, two crossed skeleton keys.The blade is housed in a black bakeolite or other early celluloid.Posted with eBay Mobile
