STUNNING ANTIQUE/VINTAGE SHABBY CHIC STUDDED TIN TRUNK / COFFEE TABLE This auction is for a very handsome antique/vintage, shabby chic, tin trunk / coffee table. It measures approximately 29.75 (l) x 20 (w) x 18 (h) inches, retains original paintwork, front central clasp, and iron handles; and further boasts a delightful studded lid. This is an absolute must have piece. Sturdy and solid, it makes for a great decorative storage item as well as central piece. It has original black metal corner protectors, and sits on two original metal runners. Internally, it remains dry and reatins the original brown paint, with the bottom surface ribbed in texture. As with most antique/vintage items, this trunk/coffee table has certain signs of wear and tear commensurate with its age and use. However none of these is so horrendous that it detracts from its use or appeal. The front central lock has heavy rusting and does not lock, and leans to one side; there is also some rusting on the metal corner proectors; and the lid is slightly misshapen. Internally, there are various scrapes, scratches, dents, nicks, marks, and surface rust - though none awful enough to hinder it.
