Up for auction is a gorgeous mantel clock from Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. (Parisian Improved) of Winsted, Conn. The beautiful solid wood case has its original finish with good hinges and closure catch. There is a lengthwise crack along the back and two areas on the back that are chipped. The glass front is in very good condition and shows only slight wear. It's in working condition but could probably use adjustment. All of the springs are intact. (I don't have knowledge about the mechanics.) The clock measures 22" in height and 13 1/2" across.
