Antique Violin and Bow and Wooden Case JEROME THIBOUVILLE - LAMY 1. Violin. Label reads: Jerome Thibouville - Lamy & Cie 68-68 bis, Rue Reaumur - PARIS. Anno. The violin needs attention and repair. The back of the violin is made from one solid piece. 2. Bow. The bow is unmarked, but came with the violin and in the original wooden Lamy case. Needs restringing. 3. Wooden Case. Solid wood. The back of the case has a label which reads: Jerome Thibouville-Lamy & Co. 10 Charterhouse Street, London, E.C. The inside of the case is fitted, originally I think it was purple felt lining. There is room for two bows. Three small compartments inside. Carrying handle. Not sure how long the violin has been in the family but it dates back for a long time. I would prefer that the buyer looked at the violin before purchase, but I would be happy to post if the buyer feels happy with the pictures. Sorry, no return on this item.
