This is an original animal for the circus or zoo antique cast iron toy wagons from the 20s and 30s. This was part of an estate lot of cast iron trains and wagons. This was amongst some "odd/ and mismatched items" along with 8 or 9 more circus animals etc. See more in my shop!Dimensions of alligator at widest points: 3" x 3/4" x 1/2"It could also be from a zoo or circus set of that era. These are 2 dimensional (flat) animals
