This listing is for an antique Effanbee Lovums doll. She is in pretty good condition considering her age. Her face is lovely, but has not been cleaned at all so does have some light dirt. Eyes open and shut easily and lids feel like they are wax. There are some missing lashes which you can see in one of the pics. The arms are legs have chipping paint, but the composition is in good condition. Her body is discolored, but what you would expect to find on such an old girl. Her bonnet is antique, as well as her Christening gown which is in really nice condition, crisp and clean, but does have a couple of small holes. Under her gown in a muslin slip and may be original. Her knit booties are vintage probably from the 30's or 40's. Her open mouth exposes two teeth on the top. She is the largest Lovums that Effanbee made and was only made between 1928 and 1937.
