Beautiful Portrait or picture frame. Can be wall hung (has eyelets for wire hanger) or fold out pedestal for stting on table , mantle etc. Gorgeous craftmaship on the frame, The frame material is unknown, But it seems to be brass under metal constructed with gold "Gilt" , It shines as gold and the frame front metal decorative rim and the back reinforcing rim is apparently non magnetic The unique and gracefull shape of the frame is lovely. Itis a very heavy and well made frame. The glass is original and bubble out or convex .. Unique frame. The frame has two original cardboard gray backing pieces, and the actual finish back is of a velvety felt like material of burgundy/purple in color.. It is a very nice vintage frame, and very well could be antique..Please look at the detail of the pics ,, measures approximately 15 inches tall and 10 inches in width.. the frame is approx 1 inch in thickness and the glass bubbles out from that that thickness.. beautiful rounded opposing corners.No apparent tarnish and we have not cleaned this, I believe the "gilt" or plate id gold, and I believe the underlying metal is brass, but I do not knwo that and I will not dare scratch it to analyze.Look at the pics and ask questions if needed.I offer no returns on vintage items. but I can not imagine anyone not wanting to return this beautiful and gracefully
