Up for your consideration in this auction is an antique / vintage Nippon Morimura scenic plate with pierced handles. It is in excellent condition, with no issues to speak of. There is a darker spot along the underside rim, but it is only that, a darker spot in the unfinished porcelain circle rim. Features a scenic cottage or cabin by a lake with geese birds trees etc. It has a beautiful wide, fancy border with gold and cobalt decoration. The underside is marked Nippon Hand Painted, with the "M" inside the wreath meaning Morimura, circa 1911 and forward. The plate measures approximately 11 inch wide at widest by about 1 inch high, as the handles angle upward. This item is being sold as is, as it was found at a local estate. Please view all photos.
