Wash Basin and Pitcher by R S Prussia with a portrait of Madame Recamier. She was the most beautiful woman in Europe during the 1800’s and had her portrait and sculpture done by numerous famous artisans. A beautiful shade of turquoise accents the set with raised designs on the bowls rim and again on the pitcher. Gold accents are added for further embellishments. The bowl is in perfect condition and aside from a nick on the inside rim of the pitcher the set is wonderful. This nick doesn’t take Away from the beauty of the set and it dates to the 1900’s with the following measurements: Bowl 15 7/8” x 4 ½” High and the Pitcher are 11” High x 9” Diameter.
