ANTIQUE WATERCOLOUR PAINTING/COLLAGE DEPICTING A ROYAL PROCESSION IN PERIOD DRESS. COLLAGE HAS MILITARY & NAVAL INTEREST. This charming framed picture is in good overall condition, with just some age related wear as they say to its frame limited to a few light surface scratches here and there. Nothing overly major therefore it certainly displays superbly. It has obviously been created with a good deal of thought by someone of ability. However we are unable to state the artist's name or exact date of creation sadly as it appears to be unmarked. We have not attempted to take it out of its frame. This may reveal more but we are uncertain. The collage aspect is a most interesting feature, with the use of Naval and Military badges as decoration. These include the names of ships including HMS Crocodile, HMS Sutlej and HMS Doris. This picture measures overall approximately 14 inches (350mm) wide by just over 12 inches (310mm) tall, with the actual viewable image measuring approximately 8.25 inches (210mm) wide by 6.25(162mm) tall.
