Offered is a lovely antique Mechanics Silver Co, a division of Watson sterling spoon that measures 6 inches long by 1.25" wide at its bowl by three-quarters of an inch wide at the largest part of its decorated handle. The spoon is in good condition...I see a shallow and tiny dent in the spoon's bowl that could be rolled out (?)...This area measures about half a quarter of an inch and can bee seen on both the front and back of the spoon's bowl. I also see some very minor scratches on the back of the spoon's bowl when the item is held towards the light. Otherwise, I see no discolorations, additional dents or dings, stains, signs of excessive use or abuse or damages of any kind on the piece. I see the Watson mark on the spoon's back, as well as "Sterling." This lovely spoon was a part of a group of fruit-themed spoons made by the factory in 1910...I see remarkable detail in the spoon...The top of the front of the handle on the piece shows wonderful leaves and lucius grapes...I also note that the tendrils of the fruit form the lower neck of the spoon, and I can see that the grape motif is seen on the back of the piece as well. The spoon has considerable weight for an item of its size as well. No Reserve. Please don't hesitate to E-Mail with any questions.
