9" Wax Over Composition Doll There are no marks. Some made in England, Germany or France. She is a very nice doll. She is a Bonnet Head Wax over Composition Doll. Circa 1860 to 1880 Wax over shoulder head, with molded red bonnet: set black glass eyes and molded black hair with curls in the back. She is a very old and there is some wear but in very good condition. She has wood spoon hands and painted brown wooden feet. She has a stuffed body but there is a wood square in the mid center. She wears a nice black silk dress with white full slip and pantaloons. Lace on the neckline is beautiful old lace.She received a UFDC 2S Regional First Place in Competition in 2007.
