ANTIQUE WEDGWOOD PEARLWARE FIGURINE FAITH I have not been able to find out very much about my figurine, but from the research I have done, I believe this to be Pearlware. Made by Wedgwood, not sure about the date but it could be from 1790's?There are chips to the base of the figurine and the glaze also has chips in it in various places, as well as larger areas of missing glaze along the side of her cloak. On her left sleeve there is also a chip.I cannot see any repairs to the piece so I am assuming that there are none. The left arm is slightly darker than the right but to me this looks like a painting error/fault?I adore how delicate the hand painted elements are especially to her dress and also the script which is hand written in red copperplate writing, Shield of Faith. Please do look at the photos to get a better idea of how the figurine looks. You can see that FAITH is impressed to the front of the base. Wedgwood impressed on the back side of the base. The piece wobbles a little when you put it down so the base is not sitting flush. If you are interested I also have another of these figurines listed called Hope, so do have a look.Height approx. 18.cmWidth of base 5.8cm Thank you for looking.
