MORE PICTURES AFTER ITEM DESCRIPTION This well figured walnut veneered striking Vienna regulator wall clock was manufactured by Germania Regulator of Freiburg,Silesia, Germany sometime in the late 1800s or early 1900s It has a serial number 231617 stamped in to the back plate of the movement along with the manufaturer's trade mark.The trade mark was registered on 12th of November 1896. The clock has a running duration of 8 days and is in excellent original working condition.The well proportioned and slim case is veneered in a particularly well figured walnut which has an excellent original gloss finish along with a nice patina consistent with a well preserved antique. The door to the case is flanked with fluted pillars with elaborate tunings to the top and bottom mounted on veneered rectangular blocks with applied carvings. The detatchable top pediment is also veneered with applied ornaments and two similar finnials The mouldings, finials and door embelishments are in excellent condition and are stained darker contrasting well with the walnut veneer. The case is in excellent and totally original condition. The original leveling screws and brackets are present and the glass to the sides and the door of the case is original.As with all weight driven Vienna regulators the movement is of the highest quality having maintaining power and
