Antique Westclox Big Ben Alarm Clock. Marked "MADE BY WESTERN CLOCK CO., LA SALLE, ILL., U.S.A." at bottom of dial face. It has an Advertising Dial for "I.J. Sharick Jeweler Juneau, Alaska". I can't read the patent date, but I would think this is 1910's -1920's. It runs! It has four settings on the top of the case. The one selector may be set for either ALARM or SILENT and the other selector may be set for either STEADY or REPEAT. Clock is very solid and quite heavy. The clock is 7"as it sits to the top of the ring. The clock face is 4-1/2"across the front of the clock face. This was from my mother's estate. This was part of hundreds of items that she had setup in a Country Kitchen setting in her basement. She had an old cast iron stove along with a wide variety of pots, pans and weird old utensils. She had over a dozen old alarm clocks. This clock does NOT run. Both the clock and alarm winders are stuck and will not move either direction. Knobs for clock time and alarm both work nicely. The back section outside of the clock has quite a bit of pitting and the start or rust. There are marks on the glass dial. There is a small piece of paper inside between the glass and the dial face. You would need to take glass off to get it out. There is a dent near bottom of the metal of clock, near the words "Made By".This is being sold AS-IS for read more
