Antique Western Electric candlestick telephone. Nice original Telephone & subset. Not a reproduction. It has an early model "2 AB" dial with "patent applied for" on the side. Has patent dates on the side of the candlestick base. It is stamped 20 AL on the perch. Some paint loss on the switch hook. Appears to be brass underneath. This telephone is in as-found condition with the original 584DE Subset. The cord from the candlestick phone to the ringer is worn & frayed but does work. I have not changed out any parts or attempted to clean this telephone. I hooked up a dial tone to the red & green wires in the ringer & it dials out & rings in. There is not a mounting cord from the subset to the jack, I will leave this to the new owner to add if they want to use it. I can install a temp wire with a modular end if the buyer wants.
