This beautiful classic Western Electric Model 302 telephone is a completely reconditioned, fully functional antique, not a replica. The pictures show the shine and possibly some reflections of the lighting. This phone is over 60 years old, and while she has been thoroughly reconditioned, inside and out, she is an antique and not a new phone. T is some wear on the number one, but the number is visible. The center dial card has been replaced with a facsimile of a dial card that is similar to the one that would have been on the phone when it was put into service. The handset cord is the original black vinyl. The base cord is the original black vinyl cord, with an updated modular plug on the end of it. This modular connector will enable this phone to be connected to any standard modular phone jack. See the pictures for details. When this original phone comes out of the box, it will be ready to plug in to start using immediately. The inside of the phone has been cleaned and checked thoroughly, with all connections secured. The bells have been cleaned and polished and are tuned to be in perfect harmony for that desirable and nostalgic old time ringing sound. The dial has been inspected and lubricated and it operates smoothly. The handset has been cleaned and polished. It transmits and receives perfectly.
