Original Antique Early 1900's Whitehead & Hoag Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen Chaplain's Ribbon Badge, Denver Colorado, BRT Medal. This double sided railroad labor union ribbon is in good condition for its age, which is over 100 years old. It has some bleeding on the top ribbon & the celluloid button has discoloration. One of the strands of gold fringe on the bottom has come loose, shown in the last photo. The ribbon measures 9" long including the fringe & 2 3/8" wide. The top celluloid pin says: Chaplain. It's marked on the back: The Whitehead & Hoag Co. Badges, Mar.7, 93. The front of the ribbon is red, green & white & says: Trainmen, Snowy Range (Wyoming) Lodge No. 30, B. of R.T. Denver, Colo. There's a diamond shaped union symbol that says: Allied Printing, Union Made Trades Council, Newark, N.J. The celluloid button that hangs from the ribbon has a big "T" with a train wheel in the center & says: Brotherhood Railroad Trainmen. Etched on the back it says: The Whitehead & Hoag Co. Badges, Pat. June 12, 94, Newark, New Jersey. The backside of the ribbon has a black "In Memoriam" ribbon that bears the Brotherhood Railroad Trainmen logo in the center & says: Snowy Range Lodge, No.30, B.of R.T. Denver, Colo. It's a great looking antique Chaplain's Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen ribbon medal for any railroad or labor union collector.
