This Wileman & Co Vanity wash bowl dates back to 1898. It is in stunning condition for an item that is 113 years old. There are no cracks or repairs just one tiny nibble on the inside of one of the side lips, it is no bigger than 2mm x 2mm and is very hard to spot. Wileman & Co was taken over by the more well known company called Shelley in 1910. The glaze is perfect and is called "Spano Lustre" Iridescent glaze. It looks just like a mother of pearl finish. The bowl shape is known as the "shell design" The overall size of this superb bowl is 45cm long x 34cm wide and stands 9cm high. The picture does not do this fantastic bowl justice. International bidders please ask for the postage costs as they may be higher, if less than the listed postage cost I will refund the differnce at checkout.
