This is a nice big old icebox made in Indiana, of course. This one has been refinished at some point in its history and has since been well used. It is, however, a clean, straight, sturdy cabinet. Such a handsome, practical piece of furniture that can be used for almost anything: stereo equipment, art supplies, TV/video, books, pantry, sweaters, dishware, a cherished collection, liquor, ?...The interior metal lining has been removed and re-lined with oak. All the shelves are also oak and are adjustable. The original tiles still line the inside of the doors and show their age with some tea staining and crazing. The tiles really give this somewhat simple piece charm and character.
