A gorgeous & large size, estate-found vintage late nineteenth/early twentieth century elaborate German wire-wrapped single balloon unsilvered blown glass Christmas ornament with a paper litho scrap angel. Offered with no reserve! It measures 8” high x 3-3/8” wide across the base and is unmarked but most certainly of German manufacture, made for the American market, circa 1900-1910. No chips, nicks, cracks, breaks, touch-ups or repairs. T is some fading to the pink paint on the base, most on the front with a few spots of paint loss along with a few short stray wires (four – could be trimmed for a neater appearance), and slight, uniform age discoloration to the soft fuzzy cotton wrap uprights, minor, see photos. This is a really pretty Victorian wire wrapped glass ornament that’s fresh from the attic of a home on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Email with further questions.
