Antique Wood & Brass Inlayed No. 5 Mortise Gauge This listing is for a really nice old mortise gauge in great condition.Not sure what the wood type is, but it's a dark hard wood and only has scratches from use.It is stamped number "5 "on the top of the head and PAT.OCT.22,72. on the side of head.It has Brass Inlayed Head with Brass Set Screw , Brass Adjustable Beam Slide and Thumb Screw, Brass Pins, and three Steel Scribe Points.It measures approx. 7 1/2" long overall.
