Vintage antique flower seed box - late 1800's. D.M. Ferry & Co., Detroit, MI. Excellent -used over 100 yrs old- condition throughout. Metal latch connecting from bottom to top interior is loose on right side. Not sure if t is a latch on left side or if it's missing. Doesn't affect condition/appearance or use of the box. Metal clasp in front & back in fine, working condition. Corners are well attached with no cracks or splits in the wood. Very nice label showing kids working in a flower garden. Label has some superficial age spots and a small hole near the bottom of the woman's dress. Top of the box is well secured and fits nice and flush to the bottom. T are scrapes and scuffs on the outside bottom of the box - nothing too serious, though. Size is 12 in across, 4 1/2 in tall, 7 1/2 long, 3 in deep. Overall a very nice, rare antique seed box offered at a low starting bid.
