now on sale This is a wonderful antique ice box made by the McKee refrigerator company located in Brooklyn NY. It is in amazing condition for being over 100 years old. the inside is painted off white and appears original and has a great primitive look. the hardware is all original and the box is very solid - no side play or looseness . there is a small (quickly repaired) crack in one door near the hinge. ( see the photos) . The box measures about 52 inches high by 29 inches wide by 20 inches deep rounded to the nearest inch and measured from the top of the piece for the last two measurements. The icebox originally had a metal pan tht sat on the floor under the box, no one uses them and this one is long gone too. This is a fancy icebox that has been enjoyed by us for many a year and will sure to do the same for any new owner.
