Up for bidding is this Antique Wooden Chestnut 'David Pinfield' Moneybox With the box upright and the slot uppermost, it measures 17½cm wide by 10cm deep, and is 11cm high (6¾ x 4 x 4¼ inches), and is made from a dark wood, possibly chestnut. On the top of the box there is a metal lozenge shape with a money slot in the middle which is held on with tacks. This has been engraved with the name 'David Pinfield'. There is a door at the back of the box which can be unlocked. Comes with a key, which is not the original, but still locks and unlocks as it should.The box is is good condition, although the back of the box has scratches and has some old paint stains on it (possibly from being stored on its side). There is also some rubbing to the woodstain on the door. Check out my other items, and thanks for looking.
