Here is the first of several vintage and/or antique duck decoys purchased at the estate sale of a decoy carver and collector. The provenance on the bottom states " it was used in the marshes of Lake Michigan in the late 1800's near the Canadian border , carver unknown" It measures approx. 15" from the bill tip to tip of tail , 3-1/2" at the top of back and 6" to the top of the head. It is solid wood. Thanks for looking.
