This is a Vintage 1940Ü#39;s 33-1/3 and 78 RPM Meissner Radio Phono Recorder which came from my Dads furniture store in Manchester, NH. It is in good looking and in working condition. It is Model 9-1065 made by the Meissner Manufacturing Co of Mt. Carmel, Illinois and was designed to cut records up to 10" in diameter recorded from the radio only, phono playback, public address and/or record mike and to play records up to 12." When we plugged it in the radio played and the turntable works and the microphone lights light up. It comes with reproducing needles. PA system is working. The case is in rough condition as pictured, however it is sturdy and intact and has protected the unit commendably over the years. This Meissner model has been used to record a number of radio commercials over the years and has been an early and dependable unit for cutting records whether you use it for display, add it to your collection, and/or use it. It measures 9-1/4"x20"x20" and weighs 48 pounds. It is offered as is, as shown, with all defects known and unknown. Call with any questions. Thanks and Good Luck Bidding!
