Anton Michelsen Sterling Silver Candelabrum in "The Wave" Design, Copenhagen, c. 1950, designed by Ibi Trier Morch (1910-1980), h. 6 1/2 in., w. 10 in., wt. 29.85 troy ozs.Note: The Anton Michelsen firm of silversmiths was founded in 1841 and quickly began to enjoy royal patronage. Georg Jensen apprenticed with Anton Michelsen in the 1890s. A. Michelsen was sold to Royal Copenhagen in 1868, and was later merged into Georg Jensen after it too was acquired by Royal Copenhagen.
