You are bidding on an 1865 Leather Bound Diary. It measures 3 1/4 by 5 inches. It has a lot of features=a nice closure strap, an 1865 calendar, eclipes of 1865, table of duties on products and services, rates of postage, and the complete diary. There is an entry for every day that includes weather, farm activities, business deals involving wood and farm animals. On Friday, April 14 is an entry that reads, "Lincoln Shot in Ford's Theater in Washington". The diary is in very good conditon. All pages are solid. There is a name written in pencil in the front and some math computations in the back. There are some stains on the last few blank pages. If you have questions we will respond as soon as possible.
