Up for auction is the entire year of 1976 Apartment Life magazine. Long before the internet, twitter, and pinterest had become the choice ways of sharing innovation and creativity... This magazine was filled with all the great ideas for how to improve urban living. This magazine brought wonderful ideas to a generation of Americans who were unable to afford a house out of college. As the American landscape changed and a new way of life was established for young adults, one in which buying a house became a long-term goal instead of the expected reality, this magazine helped many a young couple improve their living situation while having fun and remaining hip in the process. A ccording to an article from Retrospace , Apartment Life "perfectly encapsulated the culture, the fashion, the look and the feel of the time."This is a great buy for anyone looking to relive the times by flipping through the pages, but it is an even better buy for someone who is looking to take advantage of the many pages worth of ideas that are still applicable to everyday life in America. This magazine may have gone out of print, but the ideas and fun that is had within has not yet seen it's final day. These magazines are in good condition. They do have some wear around the edges and in the corners, as would be expected of any magazine that is almost 40 years
