Here are three excellent Apollo 11 and17 spaceflight commemoratives all struck in amazing detail with outstanding design. The first medal commemorates Apollo 11 which was the spaceflight that landed the first Americans, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, on the Moon on July 20, 1969. This medal is 1 ½ inches in diameter and is composed of a composite metal and is uncirculated, and in beautiful condition.The second medal is a limited edition proof bronze Franklin Mint issue Apollo 17 commemorative. This medal measures about 1 ½ inches in diameter and comes sealed in a plastic holder. This medal is all authentic and comes in the original as issued plastic holder with all the informative inserts. The third medal is also a rare Franklin Mint issued Apollo 11 commemorative. This medal is solid silver, limited edition and about 1 ½ inches in diameter. These 3 medals would be a great start into a space flight collection or be a great addition to any collection and completely embodies the historic and significant ingenuity of great American NASA history, not to mention American history.
