Vintage Appalachian Dulcimer "Strums And Drums" Native American Sault Tribe. Hello up for sale we have a very unique Appalachian mountain dulcimerthis dulcimer is made with book end matching lace wood and the unique natural crack in the wood was used as part of the sound holes. The sides of the dulcimer are walnut. This dulcimer has a very nice mellow sound. Age around 7 years old. New tuners installed. A very nice heavy solid made dulcimer, holds a tune nicely. You might want to restring although the strings are new I had set up with mono gauge strings as it is the sound I prefer to play with. ( More of a Galax type of sound) I will look and see if i have a regular spare set of stings and if i do i will include them. The dulcimer is in real nice condition, but please remember it is pre-owned and has flaws in finsh and by no means perfect. But it is a workhorse of a dulcimer. I will probably regret selling this one. Almost forgot the dulcimer was made by Strums and Drums store out of Wisconsin and they are members of the Sault Tribe of the Chippewa Native Americans. Please see pictures are they are part of the description and should answer most questions. But if you have a question please ask. Your chance to own a very unique dulcimer. Thanks so much for looking.
