I have up for sale a very nicely upgraded 2009 Mac Pro. This unit has 2x 6 core X5680 cpus (12 cores total, 24 with hyper threading), 48 gigabytes of Crucial Ballistix Sport ram, a Inateck KT4004 USB3 card and a Gigabyte R9 280X video card with 3GB video memory. The R9-280x has been flashed with a Mac EFI firmware so it behaves like a regular Mac video card displaying boot screen and everything. No need to install special drivers in OS X, it's supported by default. It shows up as a Radeon 7950.The Mac Pro also has Bluetooth and wifi built in.I have uploaded a boat load of pics showing the condition of the machine (B+ condition with minor scuff and scratches on it), system specs and even benchmarks from popular Mac benchmarks. For you Final Cut Pro X guys, this machines does the Bruce X benchmark in 22 seconds.If you are curious about the cpus, I did the upgrade myself and used proper delidded cpu's. The machine is a beast at anything that can take advantage of all the cores like video compression.Unit will be shipped in a sturdy box with a custom form fit foam padding. Will include power cable and will do a fresh install of OS X 10.11 El Capitan.
