This is a fairly scarce AQUA pre prohibition Western Whiskey Bottle circa early 1900's with the embossing in a round slug plate ROTH & CO. (monogram) SAN FRANCISCO. The bottle is in outstanding condition with no chips, cracks, or dings. The embossing is STRONG!!! T is a thin 3" long very light surface scuff on the back of the bottle towards the base, a small very light surface scuff area on the back shoulder and a tiny 1/16" surface scuff on the front shoulder. These minor scuffs are mentioned for total accuracy as they do not detract from the looks of the bottle. They are seen mainly when the bottle is held up to the natural light. The color of the glass is a rich aqua with bubbles and t adding some nice character to the piece. This one is a real SPARKLER!!! The original correct top is included with the bottle. This one WAS NEVER IN THE GROUND as it was found in the attic of an old house in Petaluma CA. 20 years ago. A nice color addition to your Western Whiskey Bottle Collection.
