Strawberry Motif, Pomona Design Crock with Lid Arabia of Finland Vintage, Retro, Collectible, 1960's Crock is Excellent, lid has a bit of crazing Up for auction is the Strawberries butter crock with lid manufactured by Arabia in the 1960's for the modern kitchen. Kaj Franck designed a series of table items which was called the Pomona Line, a mix and match and stack assortment for the casual table. The fresh fruits in bright colors were welcome at that time, as they still are today. Some people use the crock to keep butter in ice; that expensive European butter. Other friends have used it for honey or jam. Whatever you use it for, it is gorgeous, makes everyone happy when you put it on the table. The crock is about 3 1/2 inches tall; and 4 1/2 inches in diameter at the rim. Condition: Crock has excellent luster, no chips, crazing, cracks, pinholes or damage, but t are some small manufacturing flaws or discolorations on the inside glaze, please see photo. The lid has some crazing. The last picture shows the a matching sugar bowl with the crock-- ! ROBIN HARLOW POLICIES Payment: PayPal only.
