1 Large Pitcher Strawberries Pattern Arabia of Finland, Pomona Line, Kaj Franck Design Vintage, Retro, Collectible, 1966 Mark Excellent Condition This auction is for one Strawberry Pattern pitcher manufactured by Arabia in the 1960's for the modern kitchen. The fresh colors were welcome at that time as they still are today. The Pomona line was designed by Kaj Franck for stacking and mixing and matching. The line has bright colors - apples, oranges, strawberries, plums, and even honey bees - and lots of pieces that you can pick from. Creamers, sugar bowls, jam jars, and butter crocks were the main pieces, but you sometimes find pitchers, plates, serving bowls and cups as well. The pitcher is 6 inches tall, and measures 7 1/2 inches from the spout to the edge of the handle. Perfect size for serving juice or milk at brunch. Condition: Bright colors, beautiful shine, no chips, stains, spots, or scratches. T are a few crazing lines starting, though, please see the photos. The pitcher was manufactured in 1966, see photo, and is as bright and as pretty as the day it was first bought. Gorgeous!
