I am listing three different auctions of Arabia porcelain today. They are all quite different, but take a look if you just love all Arabia. T is almost always a substantial savings on shipping when more than one auction is won. Good Luck! This auction is for a 4-5/8" diameter, mini plate, issued by Arabia of Finland in 1980. It is number 6. T were many of these plates issued over the years honoring the life of Laplanders. These Laplanders lived and ranched reindeer in Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Western Russian north of the Arctic Circle. This plate was designed, and bears the signature of, A. Alariesto. The name of the plate is "A Village of Lapps in Winter" and is translated accordingly in four languages. This lovely plate has three reindeer depicted as well as children and adults.
